The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Whoa, Updates! (commissions, comics, school, ect)

Wow! I was sick as a dog for days and it was pure hell! /dies
So anyway, that kind of set me back on a lot of artwork and schoolwork. I am behind on everything.

Commissions: There are two dA commissioners who are still waiting for things from me. I'm so sorry, please don't hate me! They're all WIPs right now, so trust me when I say that things are getting done! Stomach viruses just tend to slow down this girl's work process. ._.;
Those will come soon.

Comics: OD is slowly catching up on my buffer D: Again, blame sickness and being busy with life and school. A lot is going on and I'm trying to keep my 3.0 from suffering, my GPA is low enough. I'll try to stay ahead on my buffer, but there is a slight, unfortunate, possibility that OD may have to go on a short break. I love you. Don't hurt me.

School:

ect; Some of you know that I'm occasionally contracted by Poke the Bear Productions (LLC) for artwork. They've hired me again to work on a commercial! This excites me. Also, if you know about the whole Artemis thing, he is sooooo much better, and he has an appointment on the 27th to get the rest of his shots and to get neutered, then he's good to go! Thanks to everyone who supported and donated to the Arty Vet Fund!
