Sooooo, today was Reading Competition, and my first year as an actual decision-making captain. Needless to say, we failed so hard. XD
I admit defeat, though. Our team just didn't read enough books, and although I found the situation kinda funny, I'm still prepared to do better at the Spring competition. :)
But my real news: our scores were fucking hilarious
round 1: 6 points
round 2: 6 points
round 3: 9 points

And I made a friend during round 3. 8D You know who you are.

Competition aside, here's a basic update, guys and gals;

My kid sister is out of the hospital (those who saw the turkey are aware), but she and my mom won't. go. home.

Nope, still just a senior, lol. Have you tried Saint Francis or Mount Aloysius? You don't have to be religious, or even catholic. My sister goes to the Mount, and she's quite open about being agnostic. :shrug:
